Creator Partner Program Terms

How commissions, quotas, and payouts work for Creelo Creator Partners.

This page is a summary, not the contract

The terms below describe how the program runs day to day, and they match what the product enforces. The binding Creator Partner Agreement is a separate document provided to you for acceptance when your application is approved. Where the two ever differ, the signed agreement governs. Questions before then: support@creelo.app.

1. Joining the program

Partners are admitted by application. Creelo assigns your tier at admission. A tier may be raised at any time, and is only lowered at renewal.

You receive one personal referral code, chosen at onboarding and locked once active. Creelo will change it once on written request.

2. How a referral is attributed

When someone visits Creelo with your code in the link, we store it in a cookie for 60 days. If they type a code at signup instead, the typed code wins. Attribution is locked permanently when their account is created and is never moved afterwards.

One code per account, for life. Codes apply to new signups only, not to existing accounts. Referring yourself does not create a referral.

Every referred user receives bonus credits at signup. Creelo pays for those, and they do not come out of your grant or your commission.

3. Commission

Rate. 20% of gross subscription revenue on each qualifying paid invoice from a user you referred.

What counts. Creelo paid subscription plans, and any successor plans of equivalent character. One-off credit top-ups and gift cards do not earn commission.

Base. The gross subscription price charged to the user, before payment processor fees, FX movement, and taxes are taken out, and excluding any one-off discount applied at checkout.

Window. 12 months from that user's first paid invoice. After that, no further commission accrues from them.

4. Holds and reversals

First invoice. Your first commission for a given user is held for 60 days. On day 60 it clears if that user is still subscribed and has paid at least twice. If not, it reverses.

Later invoices. These clear on accrual and carry a 30-day reversal window. A refund or chargeback inside that window reverses the commission.

After payout. If a reversal lands after you have already been paid, the amount is recorded as a clawback and netted off your next payout. Creelo will never invoice you or take money back directly.

5. Payouts

When. Monthly, on the 5th, covering every commission cleared at that point.

Threshold. USD 25 equivalent in your payout currency. Anything below that rolls forward to the next month. Your dashboard shows the running balance.

How. Naira, Cedi, and Shilling payouts go by Paystack transfer to your saved bank or mobile money account. US dollar payouts are sent by Wise. Keeping your payout details correct is your responsibility.

Currency. Chosen at onboarding and locked after your first successful payout. Changing it needs an email to support and our written agreement.

If a transfer fails. We will email you, and retry on the next monthly cycle once your details are corrected. The commissions in a failed payout return to your balance rather than being lost.

Exchange rates. Each commission records the invoice amount in its original currency plus a converted amount at the rate on the day it accrued. Creelo absorbs any movement between then and payout day.

6. Staying active

Active partners receive a monthly credit grant on the 1st, sized by tier. Credits are not transferable, not refundable, and expire if your membership ends.

In return you commit to a small number of submitted outputs and public posts each calendar month, set by tier and shown on your dashboard.

Miss a month and you get a warning by email and a banner on your dashboard. Miss two in a row and the monthly credit grant is suspended. Commissions you have already earned keep paying out. Email support to ask for reinstatement.

7. Fair use and disqualification

Self-referrals, fake accounts, purchased traffic, misrepresenting Creelo, bidding on Creelo brand terms, and spam are all grounds for removal from the program. Where fraud is found, unpaid commissions may be withheld.

8. Tax

You are responsible for declaring and paying any income tax, VAT, or other tax owed on commissions and grants you receive. Depending on your country, we may need tax details from you before a payout can be made.

9. Questions

Email support@creelo.app. If something here does not match what you see in your dashboard, tell us and we will fix whichever one is wrong.
